PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Physician assistants practice medicine on teams with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare workers. Working in physicians' offices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and other healthcare settings. Most work full time.

Employment of physician assistants is projected to grow over 30% over the next ten years, much faster than the average for all occupations. As demand for healthcare services grows, physician assistants will be needed to provide care to patients.
Nurse Practitioner

As highly skilled professionals, they work alongside physicians, both medical and surgical. NPs have high income potential, with the top 50% taking home six-figure salaries. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 28% employment growth for nurse practitioners between 2018 and 2028. In that period, an estimated 53,300 jobs should open up.
